Jason Allain graduated from Louisiana State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2010
Prior to joining Gaido & Fintzen, Jason was an associate at a debt relief firm in Chicago where his practice included consumer bankruptcy and debt settlements. He was also an associate for a firm in the South suburbs of Chicago where his practice included foreclosure defense, landlord-tenant, civil defense, and probate matters.
While in law school, Jason was the treasurer of the Public Interest Law Society and International Law Society. Additionally, he gained valuable courtroom experience as an extern with the Cook County Public Guardian’s Adult Division pursuant to Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711. Jason has used pro-bono opportunities to round out his experience, performing document review for the Council on American Islamic Relations – Chicago (CAIR), volunteering with Cabrini Green Legal Aid’s Expungement Help Desk, and acting as Legal Liaison for FIGMENT Chicago, a non-profit, participatory arts festival.
Jason is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and is an active member of the Illinois Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association. He enjoys playing music, making award-winning chili, and spending time with his partner and their rescue pit bull, Sophia.
